What do you admire about HJO?: I love being able to play in a group of like-minded jazz lovers.  As a founding member, I have known a lot of the guys in the band for over 10 years, and really cherish the relationships with the other musicians.

Other groups you play(ed) with: I am the director of all of the Jazz ensembles at Central Catholic High School in Bloomington, and I perform with the Prairieland Dixie band as well.

Other interests or hobbies: I eat, breathe, and sleep music, but I am also a Social Studies teacher and an amateur woodworker.  My absolute favorite hobby is spending time with my wife (who is a monster clarinet player by the way).
